St Louis Lambert International is located roughly 13 miles from the city of St Louis, Missouri. In terms of passenger throughput, it is America's 15th busiest airport, with an average of almost 1,400 take-offs and landings each day. The airport is made up of two terminal buildings, the Main Terminal, serving both domestic and international flights, and the East Terminal, serving strictly domestic flights.

Airport parking at St Louis Lambert

There is ample parking at St Louis Lambert International Airport, with two terminal garages and five parking lots providing short-term, intermediate and long-term parking options. The garages are located adjacent to each terminal, offering short-term parking and direct entry to the airport building. An Intermediate Lot is situated on the other side of the street from the Main Terminal Garage, on the southwest side of Lambert boulevard, providing parking charged at an hourly rate. Access to the Main Terminal is gained via a pedestrian tunnel. Long-term lots are the most economical parking option at St Louis Lambert, charged on a daily rather than hourly parking rate. These parking areas are located west of the airport and are connected to the terminals by 24-hour shuttle buses.

Getting to and from the airport

To reach central St Louis from the airport by car, take I-70 from intersection 236, located close to the airport's main entrance. Alternatively, travellers can utilise the Metrolink light rail system, which makes regular trips between St Louis and the airport, accessible through the Main Terminal's upper level or the parking facility adjacent to the East Terminal. Taxis are also available from the airport, leaving from outside the terminal entrances and operating 24 hours a day. Limousines and taxi-vans can also be arranged at desks inside the airport building. A bus station is located close to the intermediate parking lot, from where Greyhound buses, local buses and Military buses provide transportation to a variety of destinations.

Amenities at St Louis Lambert International Airport

A variety of shops are scattered through the terminals, but there is no duty-free section in the airport. An array of restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the Main Terminal provide drinks, snacks and meals.

Full banking services are available at St Louis Lambert Airport as well as ATMs and currency exchange counters. Other services and amenities include massage and shoe shine services, a post office and a non-denominational chapel. A business centre is available at the nearby St Louis Airport Marriot Hotel, offering computers, printers, internet access and meeting rooms.

Information kiosks are positioned on the lower levels of both terminal buildings.
