Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Information
Newark Liberty International Airport is located in New Jersey, slightly farther from Manhattan than JFK or La Guardia airports, and is the smallest of the three. It is a modern, well-organised airport, with flights travelling to both domestic and international destinations. Newark Liberty International Airport comprises of three separate terminals, A, B and C, with Terminal B handling most international flights. It takes approximately 10 minutes to travel between the terminals on foot, but a free monorail system (the AirTrain) provides frequent connections between the buildings. Airport parking at Newark
Short-term, daily and long-term parking areas are available at Newark Liberty International Airport, with short-term facilities positioned directly across from each of the terminals. Cheaper alternatives to the short-term parking areas are the daily parking facilities (P1, P3 and P4), which are linked to the terminals via the AirTrain monorail, while the long-term economy parking facility (P6) is connected to the airport building via a courtesy shuttle bus service. Each lot has reserved spaces for handicapped travellers, with discounted rates for stays of more than 24 hours.
Getting to and from the airport
Route I-78 connects Newark and Manhattan, with the trip between the two taking between 20 and 45 minutes, depending on congestion; be sure to have cash on-hand to pay tolls along the way. Newark Liberty International Airport has its own train station, which is linked to the terminals via the AirTrain monorail and serves both New Jersey Transit and Amtrak lines. Train services run frequently from the airport station over an 18-hour period each day. Buses provide an affordable means of transportation to the city and surrounding locations, or alternatively, taxis and shared vans are available from outside the terminal buildings. For those who prefer more elegant transport, limousines can be arranged from inside the airport building.

Terminal C has the widest range of amenities including a food court, a number of sports bars and a spa.
