New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) information

Located 15 miles west of central New Orleans in the area known as Kenner, New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport is also known as Moisant Airport, its official title before it was renamed in 1960. The airport is relatively small, with a single terminal building catering for all take-offs and landings.

Airport parking at New Orleans

Options for both short-term and long-term parking are available at two sizeable parking garages located close to the terminal building. The short-term parking facility encompasses 3,000 spaces and the long-term facility 2,500 spaces. Additionally, there is an open-air lot off the Airline highway, which also caters to both short-term and long-term parking needs. A valet parking service is located just outside Entrance No. 7 of the airport building, with purple signs leading the way. If you want to avoid being caught in long payment lines, you can make use of the airport's ticketless parking system by swiping your credit card when entering or leaving the parking garage.
