Introduction
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of America's major transportation hubs, serving a vast number of domestic destinations and offering regular connections to the Pacific area, Europe and Latin America. In terms of annual passenger traffic, the airport is the sixth busiest on the globe, serving almost 60 million passengers on a yearly basis. Located 15 miles northwest of Dallas and 18 miles northeast of Fort Worth, the airport offers convenient access to and from both cities.

Varieties of car parks are available at the airport including terminal, remote and express parking. Terminal parking lots are located conveniently close to the airport buildings in covered garages, while 4,800 economy spaces are located in remote parking lots at the northern and southern extremes of the airport, with bus services providing transportation to the terminal buildings. Additionally, there are over 5,000 express parking spaces north and south of the airport, with shuttle van services providing transportation to the terminals. Wheelchair accessible parking is available at the terminal parking lots for the convenience of disabled travellers.
Getting to and from Dallas Fort Worth
if you need to access the airport by road from Dallas, drive along I-35E northwards until you join route 183, then turn off onto Ramp DFW Airport and finally onto the International Parkway North. From Fort Worth the airport is accessible via I-35W; ramp route 121 north and then route 121 from Exit 52 A. Train services are available from destinations across the US to both Fort Worth and Dallas, and shuttle services offer transport from the train stations to the airport terminals. Taxis provide a convenient means of getting to and from the airport, while buses to Fort Worth are available from the upper levels of the airport buildings.
Amenities at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
there are currently five working terminals at DFW - A, B, C, D and E - with Terminal D incorporating a large mall complete with shops, restaurants and bars. Wireless internet service is available at all terminals and all buildings are well-equipped with ATMs and money exchange counters.
A wide range of retail stores, restaurants, bars and fast-food outlets are distributed throughout the airport, with duty-free shops located at terminals A and B. The airport encompasses its own post office, and various business centres provide printing, fax, coping, courier, computer and conference services.
Information can be obtained from information screens that are liberally distributed throughout the terminals, from computerised information centres near the baggage belts or from Travelers' Aid counters located at various points in the terminal buildings.
