Inverness Airport is located just off the A96 roadway which leads southwest to Inverness, a 15-minute drive. To the northeast, the road runs along the Moray Firth to Nairn, Forres and Elgin. Highland Country buses operate out of the airport, running to Queensgate in Inverness city centre (from 10:00 until 21:00 on most days) as well as other area destinations. Central Highland taxis also provide service from the airport.
Amenities at Inverness Airport
Facilities are somewhat limited. There is an ATM; a shop selling newspapers, periodicals and travel-related items; a landside restaurant and bar, which is open during flight operations; and an airside bar/café, open from 11:00 to 18:00. For business travellers, the airport can provide meeting rooms and conference facilities by appointment.
