Eindhoven Airport (EIN) Information

Introduction

Eindhoven Airport is the regional airport for the southern Netherlands. It is situated 7kms west of the city of Eindhoven, and serves approximately 400,000 passengers per year. Daily flights connect the airport with Amsterdam and many other major European cities including London, Paris, Rome, Hamburg and Barcelona. Summertime charter flights depart for sunny climes in the Canary Islands, Portugal, Greece and Turkey. A single terminal with 15 check-in desks and 6 gates handles all domestic, international and charter traffic.

Airport parking at Eindhoven

Airport car parks can accommodate a total of 1,500 vehicles. The short-term car park P1 is located directly across from the terminal. Parking fees are €3 for 1 hour, €5 for 2 hours, and €23 per day. Car parks P3 (250 metres from the terminal) and P4 (a bit farther away) are more suitable for long-term parking. Rates here are €15 per day, €51 per week in P3 and €37 per week in P4.

Getting to and from Eindhoven

A feeder road connects the airport to the A2 motorway (exit 29), which leads south into Eindhoven city centre, and northward to 's-Hertogenbosch, Utrecht and Amsterdam. Buses run four times per hour between the airport and Eindhoven's central station. There are also express buses to Amsterdam, departing three or four times daily in conjunction with flight arrival times. The fare for the 90-minute journey is €17.50 (€30 return). A taxi rank is located in front of the terminal as well.

Amenities at Eindhoven Airport

An ATM and a bureau de change are located in the main hall. The Shop and Fly duty-free store in the departures hall offers a selection of perfumes, wines and spirits, and other luxury goods. Restaurant Belvedair's terrace has panoramic views of the runway. Here diners can savor anything from a cup of coffee to a three-course meal. A bar which also serves snacks is located in the departures hall. The airport's business centre has six meeting rooms of various sizes, equipped with standard telecommunications facilities.
