Airport parking at Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport
The short-term car park is situated just outside the departures hall, and is open from 7:30 until 24:00. The hourly rate is €2. Long-term parking in the multilevel car park is free for the first 60 minutes. Afterward, rates are about €1 per hour up to a day rate of €14. The weekly rate is €63, two weeks €98.
Getting to and from Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport
Pisa's city centre is a 10-minute drive via the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno dual carriageway. Livorno is 20 minutes away and Florence (80kms) 45 minutes. The nearby A12 autoroute leads northwest to Genoa (190kms). Trains run approximately hourly between the airport and Pisa, plus eight times a day to and from Florence (€5.10). The airport's railway station is connected to the terminal by a 40-metre-long covered walkway. Buses to downtown Pisa leave the airport every 20 minutes from just outside the departures area. The fare is €0.85. Connections to Lucca and Livorno are available from the airport as well. Taxis are available around the clock in front of the arrivals area; average fare for the trip to Pisa is €6, with additional charges applying on Sundays and holidays. Collective taxi service leaves every 10 minutes, pooling up to eight passengers at a per person rate of €2.50 to downtown and €4 to the Leaning Tower.

An ATM and a currency exchange machine are located in the arrivals hall, next to the post office. A bank on the first floor is open from 8:20 until 18:45. The La Corte shopping area has 21 shops offering fashions, books, watches, jewellery, food and wine, and more. Two restaurants (one self-service), a pizza stand and two bars offer travellers sustenance. A well-equipped business centre and a VIP lounge (tickets €9.50) are located on the first floor, plus there are three internet kiosks at various locations in the terminal.
