Milan Orio al Serio Airport (BGY) Information
Introduction
The third of Milan's airports, the Orio al Serio Airport is located 5kms east of Bergamo and 45kms northeast of Milan, in the heart of Italy's Lombardy region. About 1 million passengers per year pass through the airport's single terminal. International connections are primarily with the UK, Germany and northern Europe, Spain and the Middle East. Airport parking at Milan Orio al Serio Airport
Several parking options are offered. Car park P1, nearest the terminal, charges €2 for the first hour; €3 for 2 hours; €6 for up to 8 hours; €9 for 12 hours; and a daily rate of €13. The indoor car park P2 charges rates of €3 for the first hour; €8 for up to 8 hours; and a daily rate of €13. The outdoor car park P2, and a second, more remote car park suitable for long-term parking (with free shuttle service to the terminal), charge rates of €2 for 2 hours; €3 for 4 hours; €4 for 12 hours; and a daily rate of €9. In all cases, after 24 hours the corresponding partial amount is added to the full daily rate.
Getting to and from Milan Orio al Serio Airport
The airport is connected to the A4 Milan-Venice motorway via the Bergamo and Seriate exits. After passing through the toll gate, well-posted signs will bring you to the airport. Bus service can be found at the airport entrance. The fare to Bergamo is €1.50. Bus connections to Milan are also available from 5:00 until 24:00 (fare, €6). Taxis are available at the airport as well.

A bank is located at the airport, as well as ATMs, a currency exchange facility and a post office. Shopping options include duty-free, fashions, leather goods, newspapers and tobacco. The airport has a restaurant and an assortment of cafes and wine bars. Internet connections are offered through the business centre.
