Paris Orly International Airport (ORY) Information
Located 14kms south of central Paris, Orly International Airport serves more than 25 million passengers per year and provides an alternative to the somewhat larger Roissy/Charles de Gaulle International Airport northeast of the city. Airport parking at Paris Orly International Airport
There are five car parks: P0, P2, P4, P5 (open all night) and P7. P0 and P2 (for Orly West terminal) are covered, multi-level car parks with a total of more than 7,300 spaces. Rates are €2.70 per hour, with a 24-hour rate of €20.60 (after which the hourly rate applies). Car park P5 is within walking distance of Orly West, and is connected to Orly South by a free shuttle bus. The 1,733 spaces are spread over three levels, two of which are covered. Rates are €2.60 per hour, with a 24-hour rate of €15 (hourly after that). Uncovered car parks P4 and P7, offering a total of more than 3,000 spaces, are designed for long-term parking. Terminals are accessed by shuttle bus. Rates are €1.50 per hour, with a 24-hour rate of €11.40 - after which the hourly rate once again applies.
Getting to and from Paris Orly International Airport
If driving from Paris, follow the A6 autoroute via Porte d'Orleans or Porte de Gentilly. Alternatively, take the RN7 roadway via Porte d'Italie. The Orlyval metro operates between 6:00 and 23:00, leaving from both terminals and connecting with the RER rapid train service which takes travellers into the heart of Paris (€8.85 total fare). Orlybus bus service to and from Paris is available from 5:35 until 23:30, with departures every 20 minutes (fare €5.80). Air France bus service (€8) is available as well. Travel time via bus is about 30 minutes. Minivans and taxis are plentiful around the clock, offering door-to-door service for €35+.
Amenities at Paris Orly International Airport
Both terminals have a number of ATMs and bureaux de change, plus a post office. This being France, each terminal even has its own art gallery. In the south terminal is a medical centre offering vaccinations. The airport has many newsagents, duty-free shops and regular shops offering merchandise including jewellery, perfumes, cosmetics, fashions, lingerie, stationery, and gourmet items. Food and drinks may be obtained at any of the airport's several caf�©s and bars, plus there is a gourmet restaurant in Orly South. Orly West has a fully equipped business centre, with telecommunications facilities, meeting rooms and offices. Orly South has meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 200.
