Larnaca International Airport (LCA) Information

Located directly on the Mediterranean Sea 8kms south of Larnaca city, the airport is the principal port of entry to the Greek (southern) side of the island of Cyprus. A single terminal building accommodates 5 million passengers per year, most of them travelling during the peak summer months on charters and scheduled flights from the UK, northern Europe, Russia and the Middle East.

A car park is situated in front of the terminal. Parking is charged by the hour, and only short-term parking is offered.

Getting to and from Larnaca

The airport is situated on the B4 roadway, which leads north directly into Larnaca city centre. Transportation to Larnaca by bus is available every 60 minutes, Monday through Friday. The fare from the airport is €0.60, and the journey time is 15 minutes. Taxis also run into the city, as well as to other destinations on the island. The fare is €5.25 into Larnaca.

Three banks have ATMs and bureaux de change in the arrivals hall and public concourse. Facilities are open 24 hours a day. A post office open Monday through Friday is located on the public concourse. First aid and vaccinations are offered around the clock in the arrivals hall. Duty-free shops in the arrivals hall and departures lounge offer a selection of luxury goods. Regular shops in the departures lounge and public concourse are open day and night, and sell a range of travel-related items, newspapers and books, spirits, confectionery and souvenirs. Restaurants, bars and cafés offering light meals and refreshments can be found in the departures lounge and public concourse as well. For business travellers, Cyprus Airways' Sunjet Lounge offers telecommunications and other facilities at all hours.
